About us

Getting Here: Our guests will need to book a flight to Unalakleet, Alaska from Anchorage. Unalakleet is a picturesque native village and important hub. It's also a famous checkpoint on the Iditarod Trail that sits on the Bering Sea coast. Our pilot will take you on a 30 minute scenic flight to our first camp on the Anvik River.

Dates & Pricing: Our trips run from mid to late August till the 10th or so of September. The cost is $4500.00 for 6 days, which includes flights out to Anvik River and back, all meals, etc. on the river and no charge if we get weathered in for an extra day. We are always prepared as the weather in Western Alaska can be fickle. Fishing licenses can be bought online or out in the village where you will find a well-stocked native corporation store for last minute items.

On the River: Large capacity 18’ foot catarafts are used to navigate the upper Anvik River: a class one river and an important silver salmon fishery that drains into the mighty Yukon River. Moose, Wolves, Brown Bear, Caribou, Black Bear, Lynx, fox, Otters, Beavers as well as Osprey, Eagles and Peregrine Falcons plus a myriad of waterfowl can be observed from a leisurely float down this extremely remote river.

Evening on the Anvik! At the end of each day we'll set up camp on large gravel bars. You'll enjoy authentic Bush meals, campfire tales, and the quite and beauty of Western Alaska... View photo gallery >

Fish the upper Anvik River: a class one river and an important silver salmon fishery that drains into the mighty Yukon River. This crystal clear river offers some of the best fishing in Alaska... About us >
Bush Camp: After a long day of floating the Anvik, we set up camps on the large gravel bars where hearty meals and fresh fish will keep you satisfied. Grilled Alaskan Salmon over a bed of Alder coals is as good as it gets.   Homestead Cabin: The last day on the river finds us at our small bush cabin where you can unwind a bit, freshen up and take in a sampling of life deep in Alaska's Bush. In the morning our pilot will pick you up and return you to Unalakleet and back to the real world.

Catarafts offer a terrific fishing platform since you are well above the waters surface. Sight casting to pods of Silver, chum and sockeye salmon will keep you as busy as you’d like to be. Dolly Varden, Arctic Char and Arctic Grayling round out the main species found in this gin clear fishery.

Solitude: These trips are truly wild and remote, We are way out there and hope that you are an adventuresome sort. No combat fishing or constant drone of planes or jet boats. We use satellite phone technology, other than that no internet, email or cell phones. The quiet of Western Alaskan will amaze you.
