Swift River Guides is owned and operated by Pete Walsh. A professional fishing and hunting guide, Pete acquired a small homestead on the Anvik River in Western Alaska almost 10 years ago. He has been a guide and packer in Montana for over 30 years and a licensed fishing guide in Alaska for the past three years.
After spending long stretches of time out in the bush (at times alone) over the years, Pete figured it would be beneficial to show a few folks the rewards of spending time in this unspoiled wilderness. As Pete put it,
